St Nicholas Early Education

St Nicholas Early Education Cardiff is an 84-place early education and child care centre comprised of bright and stimulating classrooms, all opening onto an atrium-style outdoor play area featuring a combination of natural and man-made play equipment.

St Nick's Cardiff features two 12-place nursery programs for children aged 0 – 2 years, a 15-place program for children aged 2 – 3, a 20-place program for children aged 3 – 4, and a 25-place preschool program for children aged 4 – 5. Having small group programs with high educator-to-child ratios allows us to provide premium, individualised education and care tailored to each child.

In line with St Nicholas’ commitment to supporting working parents, the service offers long day care hours (6.30am – 6pm). Cardiff’s highly qualified, warm and professional team of educators are always available to share information about your child’s interests, friendships and learning journey.

The crown jewel of St Nicholas Early Education Cardiff is the large outdoor space featuring a wooden pirate ship, complete with portholes, sails and a crow’s nest – all made from locally-sourced wood and materials. The walls of the wondrous outdoor space are adorned with bright rainbows, landscaped gardens and beautiful sandstone sandpits to encourage exploration and discovery.

School Musical Update

Dear Families,

It’s been an exciting few weeks as we prepare for our upcoming school musical, and I’m thrilled to share how wonderfully things are progressing!

We were recently visited by Anna Kerrigan our ASPIRE Director, who was incredibly impressed with the dedication and talent on display across all year levels. A special shout-out to our Kindergarten and Year 2 students, whose enthusiasm and energy have truly stood out during rehearsals—well done!

By now, each family should have received a letter outlining your child(ren)’s costuming and prop requirements. If you haven’t seen this yet, please check your child’s bag or contact the office. We kindly ask that all props be sent in as soon as possible to support our final preparations.

Our first full dress rehearsal is scheduled for Monday, 15th September, and we’re looking forward to seeing the show come to life on stage. In the meantime, please continue to encourage your child to practise their lines and dance routines at home—every bit of rehearsal helps build confidence and polish.

I am currently working in Eventbrite to create a mudmap for seating, which I will share with the community soon. This will allow you to purchase tickets to our matinee (12:30pm) and evening (5pm) performances. Each ticket includes entry to the show followed by a sausage sizzle (evening only).
